The official H!P site has updated with a profile picture for Morning Musume’s 44th single titled Onna to Otoko no Lullaby Game.
I’m somewhat surprised to see the outfits since they are a bit more ordinary than we are used to seeing, and even though they might be a bit simple I like how everyone looks since each one of the outfits has a different color which makes each member easy to notice which is a nice change from the usual matching outfits we see from them.
Each one of the members outfits features a distinct color color: Ai-chan has red, Kamei has orange, Gaki has green, Reina has blue (from what I can see), Sayu has pink, Lin Lin has yellow, Aika has purple, and Jun Jun has light blue, which is a nice addition to the single since it is one of the few times that distinct colors are part of a single’s outfit.
Apart from that there aren’t that many hairstyle changes except for Ai-chan who seems to have a ponytail, Reina, Lin Lin, Jun Jun and Aika who seems to have slightly shorter hair (it’s probably in a bun though), and even though there aren’t that many changes I love how they complement the outfit perfectly.
Overall the outfits are a bit simple since they are only colored dresses, and even though that may be the case they look great since they aren’t flashy or over-accessorized (the only accessories I can see are a few bracelets).
Hopefully we get some other kind of outfits though since these seem a bit too ordinary for a Russian rock-styled song, and since there are many multiple shots in the PV (from a tweet from the manager it seems that we will have 3 dance shots: black, white, and fixed camera) I hope the theme for the PV matches the song perfectly.
We should get individual profile pictures sometime soon, so I will update when they are released.
The release date is set for 11/17.
