Hello!Project member Kamei Eri recently released digital download covers of various songs from the idol label, and it was met with great success. Following up on the popularity of her releases, Hello!Project has annouced the next set of songs in the “Hello Cover” series.
Following up Kamei Eri (Morning Musume) will be Niigaki Risa (Morning Musume), Tanaka Reina (Morning Musume), Tsugunaga Momoko (Berryz Kobo), Yajima Maimi (C-ute), and Suzuki Airi (C-ute). The five girls will be each be releasing a cover version of the classic Christmas song “Seinaru Kane ga Hibiku Yoru” from Tanpopo.
On top of these releases, C-ute member Okai Chisato has released a series of covers on iTunes, including “Manatsu no Kousen,” “Egao ni Namida ~THANK YOU! DEAR FRIENDS~,” and “LOVE Namidairo.” Full and Rekochokku versions will be available on December 15th, and music.jp will start carrying the songs on December 17th.
