A radio preview for Morning Musume’s B-side for their 45th single titled Motto Aishite Hoshii no has been released.
The preview is from Sayu’s radio show, although the quality isn’t the most impressing the song can be heard clearly and I am very impressed with the way the song sounds since it has a somewhat more mature sound with a catchy techno instrumental and many Ai, Risa, and Sayu lines (Sayu says “Oh yeah” and other similar lines, but they are really well done) which makes it an amazing coupling song for the single.
The intro features a synthesizer along with someone sighing during the intro (most likely Sayu), as well as many Ai, Reina, and other member lines with various effects, which makes it a great contrasting song to the a-side since it seems to have a “teenage” sound to it, in the way that the sound is not completely mature (ballad) but instead a combination with upbeat techno sounds.
Since the song preview is only about 1:30 minutes we didn’t get a chance to find out who sings and how many lines each member gets, but it’s safe to say that Ai and Reina dominate the song with Sayu doing most of the sexy voices in the background, which is somewhat disappointing since I would have liked to see the 9th gen members sing solo on the b-side as well, although it is still too early to say who sings what since the preview is too short.
Overall the song sounds amazing and it makes it a great and solid single with two impressive songs with their unique sounds and beats, and even though the preview for the c/w is somewhat low quality and it is too short I was impressed with the way it sounded since I expected to hear another happy song or a ballad, not a combination of the two with a catchy techno sound.
Hopefully all fans have already reserved their copies since this single looks amazing so far.
The release date is set for 3/23.
