Morning Musume members Takahashi Ai, Niigaki Risa, Michishige Sayumi, Tanaka Reina and Mitsui Aika are invited to perform on this year’s FNS “Uta no Summer Matsuri 2011″.
As you might already know, also been announced that Dream Morning Musume and S/mileage were also invited to perform on this big event that will have more than 50 groups performing and appearing such as SMAP, EXILE, miwa and many more, so it’s safe to say that this is a great promotion for Morning Musume and the others H!P groups attending.
Even though we don’t know what song or medley Morning Musume will be performing, it’s kind of weird to see that the 9th generation members weren’t invited (or they did get invited but couldn’t attend), and even though hope them to also be on the show to really show their personalities and have the chance to appear on an important event, it’s still great that 5 steady Morning Musume members are getting this chance and will hopefully do their best to promote themselves, the group and their upcoming single.
Overall, it's really happy to see that Morning Musume will get to perform on this show too since it’s a great opportunity for them, and hopefully we’ll find out what kind of performance they did on the show.
The FNS Uta no Summer Matsuri 2011 will air on 8/6 from 19:00 to 23:10.
