C-ute – “Aitai Lonely Christmas” PV Released

The PV for C-ute’s 14th single titled Aitai Lonely Christmas has been released.

When I first saw the full PV I was very impressed since they used many different shots: solo close-up shots in front of Christmas trees in snow, group shots in the snow, group shot in the sled, solo shots of each member in the house (where the rooms light up at the beginning and turn off at the end of the PV), and many other shots and angles, and overall I love the way the PV looks since it is very unique and different from other previous PVs.

When you watch the PV you will most likely notice that something seems to be missing, and it took me a while to figure out that there doesn’t seem to be any dance shot in the PV, which is somewhat surprising but a nice change from previous PVs which seem to be almost all dance and close-up shot.

The PV starts off with many different shots of a house where the rooms slowly light up to show each member inside, and during most of the PV we see each member singing in the rooms as well as doing other things such as drinking tea, and I have to admit that I liked it a lot since it added a nice calm but sad feeling to the video.

Apart from that I really liked the way the many snow shots looked since we got to see each member alone and in a group, and even though there wasn’t that many movements in the group shot I loved the way that the falling snow fit in with the Christmas theme of the song.

There was also a shot of the girls singing in a sled which apart from fitting in with the theme made a unique and interesting shot since there were many angles and scenes with it, for example during the bridge of the song where they sat in it while looking off camera.

Overall I loved everything about the PV: the shots, outfits, scenes, and the many angles since they added a calm but impressive Christmas feeling to the video, and even though there wasn’t a dance shot I liked the way that the lonely Christmas feeling of the song matched the many snow scenes as well as the house with a room for each member.

Hopefully fans watch the PV and buy a copy of the single since this single looks amazing so far.

The release date is set for 12/1.
