The covers for Morning Musume’s 44th single titled Onna to Otoko no Lullaby Game have been released.
As you can tell the covers match the outfits perfectly since the main theme of the covers seems to be colorful and retro, and even though it does look a bit distracting in LQ they still look pretty amazing since each member shines with their own color among the rainbow background behind them.
There are two different themes, the first features Momusu posing in front of a colored wall (Limited B & C) and the second features cutouts of each one of the members posing individually (Limited A and Regular).
The regular cover looks pretty interesting since each one of the members appears doing a very dramatic pose, and along with the brightly colored title it seems like it has a dark and colorful theme at the same time because of the serious looks in their faces.
The Limited A cover features close-ups of each one of the members in a collage, and even though I can’t tell much since it is LQ it seems to be a very impressing cover mainly due to the great poses and expressions each member has.
The Limited B cover features all of the members posing in a formation with Ai and Reina at the front (no surprise there) and the rest of the members standing behind them, and I have to admit that the colorful background does look very interesting since it combines well with their outfits, although it seems to be a bit too colorful and “empty” for my taste (it might have something to do with everyone being in the middle).
The Limited C cover features the same background but with everyone posing in a line and even though the member order is the same as other releases (Lin Lin and Jun Jun at the sides and Ai at the middle) I have to admit that I like it a lot since the background and poses seems to make the cover stand out from among the others.
Overall I liked all of the covers (especially Limited A and C) since they have some very interesting colorful themes, and even though they are a bit too bright I love how they are all unique and feature a great look.
Hopefully fans who haven’t decided which version to get do so since this will most likely be a very interesting release.
